Rhona Mitra, star of 'The Practice' and 'The Gates' is being sued by a Venice Beach motorcyclist for injuries stemming from a car accident.
According to the lawsuit, the actress crashed her 2002 Mercedes Benz G500 into a woman riding a motorcycle in Venice Beach. The victim is seeking $25,000 in compensation for injuries sustained in the March 2011 accident as well as the replacement of her motorcycle.
Mitra's representatives claim that police who responded to the accident have told her she was not at fault in causing the motorcyclist's alleged injuries. Both parties' insurance companies are believed to be negotiating a satisfactory resolution to the case.
